Already under arrest for plotting her mother’s deliberate hit-and-run death via a Scorpio SUV, 23-year-old law student Ayushi Sharma faces a fresh police probe into the suspicious 2025 demise of her father.
JAIPUR — The ongoing investigation into the brutal murder of lower division clerk (LDC) Neeraj Sharma in Jaipur has taken a startling turn. Police are now actively probing the suspicious death of her husband, Vijay Sharma, following formal allegations that their daughter systematically murdered both parents to grab family property and a compassionate government job.

The 23-year-old final-year LLB student, Ayushi Sharma, was recently arrested along with six co-conspirators for orchestrating the murder of her mother, Neeraj. On July 3, Neeraj was run over by a speeding Scorpio SUV in Jaipur’s Pratap Nagar area in what was initially framed as a hit-and-run accident.
However, a fresh criminal complaint filed by Ayushi’s maternal uncle, Rakesh Sharma, has forced police to reopen the files on her father’s passing in April 2025.
1. Property, Power, and the Alleged Feeding Tube Plot
The complaint paints a grim picture of a long-term family conspiracy. Vijay Sharma, who served as a Court Master at the Rajasthan High Court, suffered a severe brain hemorrhage in 2024.

According to Rakesh Sharma’s statement, Vijay was on the path to recovery when Ayushi and her absconding cousin, Balram (alias Ravi), isolated him from the rest of the family.

Rakesh alleges that Ayushi kept her father at an undisclosed location for three months under the guise of specialized medical treatment. He was eventually admitted to Jaipur’s Nivik Hospital, where doctors informed relatives that nearly 90% of his body had sustained irreversible damage. He died shortly after being brought home.
The Chilling Ultimatum and a Final WhatsApp Status
The complaint details an argument where Ayushi reportedly threatened her mother with an explicit admission.
“If your father could be killed by simply removing his feeding tube, killing you will be even easier,” Ayushi reportedly stated during a domestic dispute.
Fearing for her safety, Neeraj Sharma had recently posted a tragic status update on WhatsApp, stating she had “only two days left to live” shortly before she was targeted and killed by the Scorpio SUV.
2. Deep-Seated Resentment and Motive Realities
Jaipur police personnel monitoring the interrogation revealed that Ayushi harbored deep resentment toward her mother. She claimed she was denied maternal affection, which she felt was heavily directed toward her differently-abled brother.
Investigators describe the final-year law student as highly calculating, legally aware, and deliberately manipulative. Because of her analytical background, police have brought in specialized clinical psychologists to assist with her questioning.
