Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has recently launched the domestic air package (four nights/five days) Ayodhya Darshan which covers Banaras, Ayodhya and Prayagraj. IRCTC journey will start from 02nd December and tourists can catch flights from Cochin airport. The price of tour packages is starting from Rs 28755.
Day 1, Kochi-Varanasi: Departure time of Kochi at 06:30 AM, arrival time at Varanasi at 13.00. (Tourists will have to reach the airport at least 02 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. This includes checking in at the hotel. Attend Ganga Aarti in the evening and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 2: Banaras: After breakfast depart for Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurna Temple. After lunch visit to Sarnath. Arrangement for overnight stay in Varanasi hotel.
Day 3: Departure for Allahabad. Arrive at hotel and check-in. Afternoon Tour of Allahabad – Visit to Sangam, Allahabad Fort, Patalpuri Temple. Overnight stay in Allahabad.
Day 4: Allahabad-Ayodhya-Varanasi: Departure for Ayodhya at 08:00 AM. Major places to visit in Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhoomi (birthplace of Lord Rama) where he spent most of his childhood, Lakshman Ghat, Kala Ram Mandir, Kanak Bhawan Temple Then in the evening stay at Varanasi for the night.
Day 5: Varanasi – Kochi : After breakfast check out from hotel drop at airport. Departure time of Varanasi at 13.30. Time to reach Kochi by 20:15.
