Indian Railways allows passengers to book train tickets 4 months before the date of travel. But many times we have to book tickets in case of emergency, in such a situation a confirmed ticket is not available. In this situation people take waiting tickets. But it remains unclear in the mind of the passengers whether their ticket will be confirmed or not. Whether they will be able to travel by train conveniently or not. In such a situation, IRCTC has introduced a new facility, through which you can find out how likely your waiting ticket is to be confirmed. For this, you only need to have the PNR number of your waiting ticket. Here’s how you can check your ticket confirmation probability:

Just have to follow this very easy process

  • For this, first you have to visit the website of IRCTC.
  • After this you have to log in through your IRCTC User ID and Password.
  • After this a new page will open on your screen.
  • After this you have to click on the option of ‘Click Here to Get Confirmation Chance’.
  • After this a new window will open on your screen.
  • Here you can check the confirmation of your train ticket.

IRCTC made this big change

IRCTC has recently made a big change in the rules related to ticket booking. Till now you could book only 6 tickets with a non-Aadhaar link account. Now it has been increased to 12. On the other hand, till now you could book only 12 tickets from the Aadhar link account, which has now been increased to 24.
