IndiGo said that customers can use this facility during the booking process on IndiGo’s website, mobile app or by calling customer service.

How much will be charged

The airline also said that in addition to this, customers can also book this facility for the latter through the MyBookings portal for a fee of only Rs 400 per flight. The country’s largest airline said that initially this facility will be available for major cities. However, later it will be rolled out in a phased manner for the entire domestic flight network.

Passengers will get a chance on this policy

The company said that this option will be available for a limited number of passengers per flight on a first-come-first-served basis. Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo said that the airline always strives to enhance the travel experience for its customers.

Sanjay Kumar said that priority boarding will not only help customers save time at the boarding gate, but will also ensure comfort for families and senior citizens.

The airline then offered fares starting from Rs 915 on domestic and international connections. Not only this, services like Fast Forward, 6E Flex, 6E-Bagport including 6-add-ons are being provided by IndiGo for just Rs 315, as well as car rental service to the passengers at an initial price of Rs 315.
