IndiGo Fare: IndiGo, the largest airlines company in the domestic market, has given a big shock to its customers. The airline company has increased the fares. Now the charge has been increased from Rs 150 to Rs 2000. Passengers may now have to pay up to Rs 2000 extra for front seats.

IndiGo Fare: If you are planning to travel by air then your pocket may be a bit loose. The country’s domestic airline company IndiGo has increased the fares. Now you may have to spend a little more money for your favorite seat. You will have to pay more if you choose the front seat. Passengers may have to spend up to Rs 2000 for a front seat in a flight that can comfortably sit with legs apart. This fare will be collected in addition to the ticket price.

The front seat for passengers is an XL seat with plenty of legroom. You will have to pay more fare there. Of the 180 or 186 seats in the airline’s A320 or A320neo aircraft, 18 are XL seats in the front.

You will have to pay more for these seats

Now passengers will have to pay extra Rs 2000 for front seats. Choosing a window or gallery seat in the front row of the 232-seat A321 aircraft will cost Rs 2000. For the front middle seat, passengers will now have to pay additional fare of up to Rs 1500. Earlier, the airlines company used to charge additional charges ranging from Rs 150 to Rs 1500 for these seats. According to the airline’s website, the same tariff will be applicable for selecting these seats on the 180-seat A320 aircraft. If you do not want to take a preferred seat, you can select a forever free seat. You will be given a free seat at the time of check-in at the airport. Please note that in case of ATR aircraft, the seat selection fee is up to Rs 500.

Indigo had taken back the fuel charge.

Indigo had withdrawn the decision to impose fuel charge on January 4 after cutting the prices of air fuel. After continuous reduction in crude oil prices, government oil companies had reduced the prices of aviation fuel. In view of the reduction in the prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), the fuel fee was reduced from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 depending on the distance of the ticket. In such a situation, it was expected that after this decision of Indigo, air travel will become cheaper. But by imposing new charges the company has again given a big shock to the passengers.
