Railways is also considered to be the second largest rail network in the world, but passengers have been allowed to carry goods within a limit. Due to which the passengers also have to face many problems, but do you know that the railways have also made some rules under which you can carry goods only up to a limit during the journey. Can carry so much stuff

Like air travel, the limit of carrying luggage during the journey has been fixed in the railways too. A rule has also been made by the Railways for this. Under this rule, a passenger can carry luggage up to a maximum of 50 kg. If the passenger has more baggage than this, he will have to pay the fare separately. If passengers are traveling in AC coaches, they can easily carry luggage up to 70 kg without any charges. Whereas, those traveling in a sleeper can carry only 40 kg of luggage with them.

May charge a fee

Let us tell you that if a passenger takes large luggage during the journey, then he will have to pay a separate fee. Passengers may have to pay a minimum fee of up to Rs 30. However, the Railways has also given some relaxation in this rule. According to which if a patient is traveling, then the Railways has made separate rules for him, such passengers can also take oxygen cylinders and stand with them.

This kind of stuff is not allowed

Under this rule of the Railways, passengers are not allowed to carry explosives or inflammable substances with them, for doing so, passengers can also have to pay a heavy fine.
