Indian Railways: Good news! Disposal blanket-pillow will be available in trains, know how much is the price

Indian Railways News: Blanket and bedsheet facility in trains is closed due to Corona epidemic. But in the winter season, many railway divisions including Delhi have decided to provide disposable bed sheets, blankets in the stations.



 

Passengers will have to pay separately for disposable bedrolls. Before Corona, free blankets, sheets and pillows were provided to the passengers in AC coaches and Rajdhani trains. But this facility was closed after the spread of corona infection in the country.

In the winter season, the demand for bedroll kits in trains has started increasing. Although the situation has become normal now and Indian Railways is also returning to its old speed, but till now, Indian Railways has not started the facility of free bedroll in trains as before.

Earlier, free blankets and sheets were available
Nothing can be said about when the facility of free bedroll will start. But till then the Railways has decided to provide disposable blankets, sheets etc. to the passengers. Passengers will have to pay a separate fee for the disposable travel bedroll kit. It is being told that the cost of a disposable bedroll kit is Rs 300.

Disposable travel bedroll facility has been provided at the station for passengers traveling in AC coaches. Delhi Division has also started the facility of providing disposable bedrolls in five dozen trains running from here and passengers will have to pay Rs 300 for this facility.

Disposable Bedroll Kits
The price of disposable bedroll kit and the material found in it is different in different zones of the railway. Somewhere toothpaste and sanitizer are being given in the kit and somewhere only blankets, pillows and sheets are being given.

Three types of disposable bedroll kits will be available in the train. One kit will contain non woven blanket, non woven bedsheet, non woven pillow and its cover, disposable bag, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair oil, comb, sanitizer pouch, peppersop and tissue paper. The price of this insect has been kept at Rs 300.

Only blanket will be available in a kit. It costs Rs 150 and the third kit costs only Rs 30. Toothpaste, toothbrush, hair oil, comb, sanitizer pouch, paper soap and tissue paper will be available in this kit.

Western Railway has appointed a private contractor to sell bedroll kits in trains. A Western Railway official said that at least two persons deployed by private contractors will board the trains and they will sell disposable bedrolls. These workers will sell it to the passengers at a price of Rs 150 per packet.
