Indian Railways: Very soon after the decision of Indian Railways, there will be a ban on eating and carrying non-veg food in trains. This rule will be applicable in those trains across the country which go towards religious places.

Indian Railways has started its process. This rule will be implemented one by one on all the trains going towards the religious place. These trains will be given the certificate of Satvik train. For this, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has tied up with the Sattvik Council of India. The council will give certificates to these trains, after which these trains will become sattvik.

Many times it is seen that people do not like the food served in trains, do not believe in it. There can be many reasons behind this, such as they do not know whether the food is completely vegetarian and hygienic or not or how much care is taken for cleanliness while cooking. Whether veg and non-veg are cooked separately, what is the process from preparation to serving. To solve these problems of passengers, now Indian Railways is starting a new initiative. Now the food should be completely vegetarian and all the standards of cleanliness will also be taken care of in the process of making it. For this, IRCTC has tied up with the Sattvik Council of India.

This train will be sattvik

According to the Railway Ministry, all trains going towards religious places will be made sattvik. This decision has been taken because most of the people in the trains going towards the religious place are devotees and they go to see them with full faith and reverence. In such a situation, if a passenger consumes non-veg food around them, then it will make the devotees feel uncomfortable.

Whether it is Vande Bharat going towards Vaishno Devi or Ramayana special train to visit the respective places of Lord Shri Ram. Everyone will be made sattvik. Most of these travelers are such who like to eat sattvik food. Railways is first starting Satvik food with Vande Bharat Express. Apart from this, preparations are also going on to make the trains going to other religious places of the country including Ramayana special train, Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, Ayodhya, Puri, Tirupati sattvik.

This will be the process

Abhishek Biswas, the founder of the Sattvik Council of India, says that there will be many types of process before giving the certificate of Satvik. In this, the method of cooking, kitchen, serving and serving utensils will be decided. The trains will be given a certificate only after going through all the procedures. He also informed that apart from making the trains sattvik, there is a plan to make the base kitchen, lounge and food stalls sattvik as well.
