From July, for the convenience of rail passengers and ease of operation, 04 pairs of mail/express trains will be run from Govindpuri station instead of Kanpur Central. Apart from this, 04050/04049 New Delhi-Aishbagh-New Delhi special train has been given additional stoppage at Puranpur station. 04050 special train running from 25 May 2025 will reach Puranpur at 06.30 and leave at 06.35. 04049 special train running from 26 May 2025 will reach Puranpur at 23.50 and leave at 23.55.

22970 Banaras-Okha Express running from Banaras from 26 July 2025 will reach Govindpuri station instead of Kanpur Central at 03.25 and leave at 03.30. 12581/22581 Banaras/Ballia-New Delhi Express running from Banaras from 24 July 2025 will reach Govindpuri station instead of Kanpur Central at 03.50 and leave at 03.55. 22449 Guwahati-New Delhi Express running from Guwahati from 26 July 2025 will reach Govindpuri station instead of Kanpur Central at 06.30 and leave at 06.35.
