Indian Railways: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently visited Rajasthan. The minister had told that the railways will redevelop 150 railway stations across the country. New Delhi. Work is being done expeditiously on the Railway Station Redevelopment Scheme to make the railway stations equipped with state-of-the-art facilities by the Indian Railways . About 150 such stations have been identified across the country which are to be redeveloped. All these stations will be redeveloped in a phased manner by the Rail Land Development Authority ( RLDA ). All these works are also being done at many identified stations in different zones of the railway. All this is being done under the Public Private Partnership Project (PPP Mode) with the participation of the private sector.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav says that the railways is trying to complete the bullet train project running between Mumbai and Ahmedabad at a fast pace. Work is being done very fast to complete this project within the stipulated time frame as soon as possible. At the same time, he says that the Railways is also working to connect more than 300 major cities across the country with high speed corridors. Along with this, to equip the railway stations with world-class and state-of-the-art facilities, the railway station is also working fast on the redevelopment plan.





Railway Minister Vaishnav had recently visited Rajasthan to inaugurate the redeveloped building of Rai Ka Bagh Palace station in Jodhpur division under North Western Railway. Railway Minister says that Railways will redevelop 8 stations in Rajasthan. These eight stations are included in all the 150 railway stations that have been identified for redevelopment.

These eight major railway stations of Rajasthan include Jodhpur, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Jaisalmer, Abu Road and Bikaner. The redevelopment of all these 8 railway stations of Rajasthan will also be done by the Railways in the first phase itself.

Let us inform that recently Gandhi Nagar Capital Railway Station of Gujarat has been prepared by the Railways on the lines of an airport with state-of-the-art and world-class facilities. This station was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. Similarly, the Ministry of Railways plans to redevelop 150 railway stations across the country with state-of-the-art facilities.

In this episode, work is being done on the plan to prepare New Delhi Railway Station as a world class railway station. Recently, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal, Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal and senior officials of Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) and other related agencies, along with the senior officers of the concerned agencies, have to complete the project in time and to complete all the objections. Instructions were also given to remove them soon.

These stations of ECR ​​zone are also being redeveloped.

Meanwhile, apart from Gaya, Rajendra Nagar Terminal, Muzaffarpur, Begusarai, Singrauli in East Central Railway zone, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Barauni Junction, Dhanbad (Jharkhand) ) and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction (Uttar Pradesh) have also been included in the redevelopment plan.





Redevelopment work has also been started at several railway stations which were included earlier. These five stations are Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Barauni Junction, Dhanbad and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. After the Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Gandhi Nagar Capital Railway Station in July, East Central Railway (ECR) got the Redevelopment List. are included in.

The railway station will be given the form of a green building,

both religious and tourism approaches are being considered behind the redevelopment of many railway stations and giving them world class facilities like airports. Equipping the station with world-class and state-of-the-art facilities, the station will be given the form of a green building, where there will be adequate arrangements for ventilation etc.

The station will be developed according to solar energy, energy efficiency equipment and ‘green building’ standards. The entry and exit gates for the arrival and departure of railway passengers at the station shall be such that the passengers do not face congestion.
