Indian Railway Rules: If you travel in a train then this is very important news for you. Often people sit in the train and watch reels and do not even use headphones, such people may now face a big problem in the train.

Millions of people travel by train every day. Indian Railways has made many such rules so that people get convenience and they do not have to face any kind of difficulty during the journey. If you also travel by train then this is important news for you. Indian Railways has implemented the ’10 pm rule’ for the passengers. This will make the journey at night comfortable for the passengers.

But if you are watching reels on your phone or listening to songs at high volume after 10 pm, you can get into big trouble in the train. According to the ’10 pm rule’ of Indian Railways, it is necessary to maintain silence in the train after 10 pm. Strict action can be taken against those who break this rule.

Indian Railways has clearly stated in its new guidelines that no such activity should be done after 10 pm which may cause inconvenience to other passengers. The objective of this rule is to ensure that every passenger gets good sleep and rest during the journey. It is very important to maintain peace in the train at night, as many people travel long distances and need to sleep.

Now you must be wondering what will happen if you break this rule? According to Section 145 of the Railway Act 1989, if a passenger disturbs the peace, makes noise or disturbs others in the train, it will be considered an offence.

In such a situation, the railways will first warn you or impose a fine of Rs 500 to Rs 1,000. That is, if you watch the reels loudly or talk loudly on the phone after 10 pm, then you may have to face this punishment.

According to railway rules, it is also wrong to listen to songs or play videos at high volume without headphones. If your behavior causes inconvenience to other passengers, it will fall under the category of violation of rules. Railways has clearly said that one should not talk loudly on the phone after 10 pm and should not play music or videos without headphones. Apart from this, all the lights in the train should be turned off at night, except the night light.

These rules are made so that passengers can sleep peacefully and comfortably at night. If someone does not follow these rules, the railway staff can take strict action. For example, if you are watching reels at high volume at night and the passenger sitting next to you complains, you will first get a warning.

If you still do not comply, you may have to pay a fine. So, keep these rules in mind while traveling in a train at night. Take care of your own and others’ comfort, so that the journey remains pleasant and there is no hassle.
