New Delhi. Canceled Train list 22 July 2022: The effect of heavy rains and floods in the country has started affecting the operation of trains. Indian Railways canceled 143 trains on Friday, 22 July due to waterlogging due to rain in many parts of the country and maintenance works at some places. Out of this, 103 have been canceled completely, while 40 trains have been partially cancelled.

Indian Railways also rescheduled 8 trains and diverted 7 trains. The trains to be canceled include passenger, mail and express trains. Most of the canceled trains are to Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Bihar.

How to check train status

For the convenience of railway passengers, railways provide the list of canceled trains on the website of Indian Railways and IRCTC. Apart from this, its information is also available on NTES app. The status of any train can be checked on the railway website https://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes or by visiting the IRCTC website link https://www.irctchelp.in/cancelled-trains-list/#list2 can.   • First of all visit enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes/ to check the list of canceled trains.
  • On this you will see the Exceptional Trains option. Select it.
  • Click on the list of cancelled, rescheduled and diverted trains.
  • Here you will get complete information.

Refund is available on train cancellation

Passengers who have booked e-tickets through IRCTC website need not do anything for refund of tickets. In case of train cancellation, the refund will be credited to the customer’s bank account/credit card/e-wallet from which the payment has been made. If you have purchased the ticket from the reservation counter, then it can be canceled up to 72 hours after the scheduled departure of the train at any computerized reservation counter. If the passenger cancels the ticket on his own, IRCTC deducts some cancellation charges from the refund. The cancellation charges are different for each reservation category.
