Indian Passport Holders: Good news! Visa is free for Indians in these countries, See all countries list

Indians can make visa-free entry to these countries: Indian passport allows visa-free travel to 23 countries and visa-on-arrival access to 49 countries. However, three more countries have allowed visa-free entry to Indian citizens, taking the number to 26.


Indians can make visa-free entry to these countries: Passport Index, the global benchmark for passport strength and freedom of travel, has placed India at 137th position in its latest ranking. The index, which evaluates the strength of a passport based on the number of countries a citizen can visit without a visa, revealed that Indian passport holders face visa requirements for entry into 123 countries.

The Passport Index also reveals India’s Passport Power Rank, which stands at 68. However, this number indicates a moderate situation compared to other countries. This reflects the current status of India’s international mobility amid three South Asian countries deciding visa-free travel for Indian citizens for a certain period.

According to the index, with a mobility score of 75, the Indian passport allows visa-free travel to 23 countries and visa-on-arrival access to 49 countries. However, three more countries have allowed visa-free entry to Indian citizens to promote tourism, taking the number to 26.

Visa is free for Indians in these countries

Indian passport holders can now travel to Angola, Barbados, Bhutan, Dominica, El Salvador, Fiji, Gabon, Gambia, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Macau, Mauritius, Micronesia, Nepal, Palestinian Territories, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Senegal, Visa free entry to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Vanuatu, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malaysia.

It is noteworthy that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) remains the country with the strongest passport in the world, which provides visa-free travel privileges to 116 countries and visa on arrival facility to 57 countries. The UAE’s overall mobility score has reached an impressive 173.
