Hyderabad-based generic pharma company MSN Group launched Corona’s cheapest drug ‘Favilo’. The drug has a dose of favipiravir. The 200 mg Favipiravir tablet will be available for Rs 33. According to the company, Favipiravir’s 400mg tablet will also be launched in the market soon.
MSN Group has already launched antiviral drug oseltamivir for the patients of Corona in the name of Oslo. It is available in tablet form of 75 mg.

Claim the most economical drug
Dr. MSN Reddy, CMD of MSN Group, claims that Favilo is the most effective and economical drug of Kovid-19. He said, our company believes in providing quality medicines and making them available to the people. Approval has been received by the Drug Controller General of India from Favipiravir to treat Corona patients. This will allow patients with mild and moderate symptoms of corona to be treated.

Favipiravir was still being used in influenza
Favipiravir Drug is manufactured by the Japanese company Fujifilm Holding Corp on a large scale. The Japanese company sells it in the market known as Avigan. Since 2014, it is being used to treat influenza.
Glenmark will present a strong version of Fabiflu
Drug company Glenmark will introduce a strong version of Favipiravir’s brand ‘Fabiflu’. The company will launch a tablet with 400 mg dose of Fabiflu. According to the company, our goal is to complete the dose by reducing the number of bullets. This will give patients full doses in fewer tablets. Fabiflu is being used to treat patients with mild and moderate symptoms of corona infection. According to the company, the price of this tablet will also be Rs 75.
