Very Heavy Rain Warning: Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in many parts of the country for the next six to 7 days. According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rains may occur at some places in Uttarakhand on 20 to 21 July. According to the IMD, there may be 21 cm or more rain here. At the same time, heavy rains are expected in many other parts including Western Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana till July 22.
Very Heavy Rain Warning: Due to the effect of pressure in the areas around the northwest and northeastern states, heavy to very heavy rains may continue in south-west Rajasthan. Apart from this, very heavy rains are likely in North Gujarat.
According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to continue in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu during the next 6 to 7 days, while extremely heavy rains may occur at some places in Kerala and coastal Karnataka on July 20.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely at some places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand during July 20 to 24.
Very heavy rainfall is expected in western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand on 20 and 22 July. Apart from this, rain may continue in many areas of Punjab, Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are likely at some places in Konkan and Goa, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra during 20 to 25 July.

Heavy rains may continue at sporadic places in Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand during 23 to 25 July.
Heavy rains are expected in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 20 to 25 July.
