Issuing a yellow alert on Friday, meteorologists said that the weather in Delhi-NCR is going to remain pleasant for the next one week. During this time, a huge drop can also be recorded in the maximum and minimum temperatures.

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, dusty winds are likely to blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour in Delhi-NCR on May 30 as well. Along with this, there is also talk of storm with thunder and lightning at some places. The Meteorological Department says that a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorm and rain in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Shahdara, Noida i.e. Gautam Buddhnagar, Gurugram and Faridabad. Here, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 37 and the minimum temperature at 27 degrees in the next one week.

How will the weather be on May 31?

In the latest forecast of IMD, there is talk of thunderstorm in Delhi-NCR on May 31. Along with this, there may also be rain at some places. If we talk about temperature, then on May 31, the maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR can be recorded at 37 degrees and the minimum temperature at 28 degrees. During this time, a yellow alert has been issued in the entire NCR except Delhi. This includes Ghaziabad, Shahdara, Gautam Buddhnagar, Faridabad and Gurugram and other districts.

How will the weather be from June 1 to June 5?

If we talk about the weather from June 1 to 5, then according to IMD, Delhi-NCR will be partly cloudy on June 1. During this time, no significant drop in temperature is also being seen. Whereas on June 2, the mood of the weather will change once again and rain with thunderstorms has been predicted. However, IMD has not issued any alert for this. Apart from this, it will be cloudy throughout the day on June 3. Along with this, light to moderate rain has been said. During this time, the temperature is also likely to drop by two degrees.

Talking about the weather of June 4 and 5, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR on June 4. Whereas on June 5, it will be cloudy throughout the day. During this time, the maximum temperature is expected to be 36 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted light rain in Himachal Pradesh for the next five days. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of hailstorm along with winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 kmph in Himachal Pradesh till June 5.

Southwest monsoon picks up pace

The southwest monsoon has advanced into Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and west-central parts of the Bay of Bengal on May 28. It is also likely to spread to Odisha, Chhattisgarh, northeastern states, West Bengal and Sikkim in the next 24 to 48 hours. The low pressure area formed in the northwest of the Bay of Bengal may turn into a depression by May 29.

The western disturbance in the weather system is active as a trough at a height of 5.8 km, located at 72° east longitude and 30° north latitude. The cyclonic circulation is over southern Punjab, western Rajasthan and northeastern Madhya Pradesh. This has formed a trough up to eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and northern Chhattisgarh. In the last 24 hours, heavy rains occurred in Karnataka and Odisha, while light to moderate rains were recorded in Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Northeast India and Chhattisgarh. Dust storms and rains in Rajasthan led to a significant drop in temperatures.
