Once again, the continuous rains have started in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains have occurred in many districts including the capital Bhopal, Indore, Guna, Ujjain, Damoh, Khajuraho, Mandla, Agar-Malwa, Shajapur, Dhar, Umaria, Raisen. According to the latest bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Chhindwara, Seoni, Pandhurna districts.

Along with this, there is a possibility of light rain in Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sihor, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheolgan, Sheolganu, Sihorkalan, Bhind. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Maihar districts.

 What will the weather be like?

According to the Meteorological Department, currently the monsoon trough is moving through Shivpuri and Damoh into a low pressure area. After this, it is spreading from there to the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains till September 1, i.e. for several hours.
