IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature is being recorded between 7-11 degrees Celsius in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan.


IMD Rainfall Alert: Amidst the severe cold in North India, the weather pattern is going to change from tomorrow i.e. Friday. Rain warning has been issued for three days from tomorrow in the states of North India including Uttar Pradesh. North India is already facing difficulties due to severe cold and dense fog and now rain can increase further problems. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense to dense fog in North-West India for the next two days and after that it will reduce. At the same time, there will be light rain in North-West and Central India from tomorrow and a rain alert has been issued till January 2.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan is being recorded between 7-11 degrees Celsius, while in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Interior Odisha, Jharkhand the minimum temperature is 12-12 degrees Celsius. It is being recorded between 14 degrees Celsius. Dense fog is being seen in many areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. At the same time, dense fog is being recorded in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and Himachal Pradesh. Even in states like Odisha and Bihar, there is dense fog in the morning.

How will the weather be in the next five days?

The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of dense to dense fog in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi from the night of 29th December to the morning of 31st December and in many places for the next three days. In such a situation, visibility is going to be very low. At the same time, there will be dense fog in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between December 29 and January 2. Dense fog is likely to be seen in Madhya Pradesh between December 29, Jharkhand between December 29 and 30, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura between December 29-31. There will be cold day conditions in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi on 29, 30 and 31 December.

Rain alert in these states including UP

At the same time, due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on December 29, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on December 30 and 31. Apart from this, there will be light rain in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between December 31 and January 2, which will bring a big change in the weather. Talking about South India, there is a rain alert in many states here too. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep may receive light to moderate rain between December 29 and January 2.
