Rainfall Today: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in most states of North India including Delhi, UP today (Tuesday), July 5. According to IMD, the minimum temperature in Delhi today is expected to be 26 degree Celsius and maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degree Celsius.



Weather Forecast, IMD Rainfall Alert, 5 July 2022: Monsoon has covered the entire country including the national capital Delhi. There is a possibility of rain in most states of North India including Delhi, UP today (Monday). According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi is going to be 26 degree Celsius today, while the maximum temperature will be 35 degree Celsius. The sky will be cloudy and there will be rain too. Apart from this, there is also a rain alert in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Where the minimum temperature is going to be 23 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature can be 32 degree Celsius. The sky is also expected to remain cloudy throughout the day.

The minimum temperature of Dehradun in Uttarakhand is 24 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 35 degrees Celsius. It will rain here too. On the other hand, talking about Jaipur, the minimum temperature here will be 25 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 32 degree Celsius. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms.


Apart from this, today’s minimum temperature in Jammu is going to be 23 degree Celsius and maximum temperature is going to be 32 degree Celsius. There is a chance of rain here too. Talking about Lucknow, the capital of UP, the minimum temperature here will be 28 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 38 degree Celsius. There will be light clouds in the sky.

It will rain in Mumbai too for the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, today’s minimum temperature in Mumbai will be 25 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will go up to 29 degree Celsius.

Talking about Bihar, it will rain in Patna even today. The minimum temperature here is going to be 28 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 36 degree Celsius. On the other hand, today’s minimum temperature in Shimla of Himachal Pradesh will be 18 degree Celsius and maximum temperature will be 26 degree Celsius. Thunderstorms and rain are expected.

Chances of rain for five days in these states

Monsoon has arrived in all parts of the country and it is raining heavily. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are going to occur in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe for the next five days. Extremely heavy rainfall is very likely to occur over South Gujarat region and Ghat regions of Madhya Maharashtra and 8 over Konkan and Goa on 7th and 8th July, 2022. Thunderstorm/lightning rain very likely over Marathwada & North Interior Karnataka during next 5 days and very likely over Marathwada on 06 & 07 July and North Interior Karnataka during 04-06 July, 2022.

NDAF team deployed after heavy rain in Gujarat

In Gujarat, there is a possibility of heavy rain from the Meteorological Department in the coming five days. The Gujarat government has deployed 6 teams of NDRF in Saurashtra and South Gujarat after the forecast of the Meteorological Department. According to Anupam, deputy commandant of the battalion of NDRF, his three teams are engaged in rescue work in Anand, Navsari and Gir Somnath districts. While six other teams have been kept on stand by. Three teams have been deployed in Rajkot, two in Gandhinagar, one each in Surat and Banaskantha.
