IMD Alert: Heavy rain alert in 10 states, weather will change from 16 November, know complete details

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain to continue in many areas including Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar and Puducherry today.

There is also a possibility of lightning at one or two places in Truvallur, Chennai, Chengalpattu, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Tiruvaurur, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Tuthukudi districts of Tamil Nadu and Karaikal. A holiday has been declared for schools in several districts including Chennai, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Villupuram.

There is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in Haryana and West Rajasthan adjoining Delhi.
