IMD Alert: Alert of heavy rain in 12 states for 5 days, weather will change from June 14, warning of heatwave in these areas

The maximum temperature is likely to be 44 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature is likely to be 29 degree Celsius.

According to meteorologists, the maximum temperature in Delhi today will be 45 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be 32 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded in Rajasthan is 32 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is 42 degree Celsius. A rain alert has been issued in Gujarat today. In some areas of Gujarat, the minimum temperature is expected to be 31 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to be 43 degree Celsius.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the temperature is expected to rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius over most parts of Northwest India during the next three days. Over most parts of central India, temperatures are likely to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next five days. In the rest of the country, no significant change in maximum temperatures is expected. However, rain is likely to continue over Northeast India on May 10 and 12.

Madhya Pradesh can record minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius while maximum temperature is 42 degree Celsius. The sky will be cloudy. There will be some relief from the sun. At the same time, the alert of drizzle will also continue in many areas. The sky will remain cloudy in Himachal Pradesh. The minimum temperature recorded is 15 degrees while the maximum temperature can be recorded at 27 degrees Celsius. At the same time, a heatwave alert has been issued in Uttarakhand. The maximum temperature has been predicted to remain up to 27 degree Celsius.


Here in North India, a heatwave alert has been issued till June 12. However, after June 12, there will be a change in the weather once again. With the onset of monsoon, the rainy season has started in many states. In the eastern states where it is raining continuously. Heavy rains are also continuing in the southern states including Mumbai Goa and Kerala Karnataka Tamil Nadu. An alert of continuous heavy rain has been issued for 5 days.

Heatwave is expected in some areas. As predicted by the Ranchi office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), about eight districts of Jharkhand are likely to receive thunderstorms between Tuesday and Wednesday. Thunderstorms will occur over Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Sahebganj and adjoining areas.

IMD said that warm winds are still coming from western India, Jharkhand will experience lightning activities in the coming days. Scattered rain has also been predicted in Santhal-Parganas and Kolhan divisions on Tuesday.
On Monday, high humidity levels in Ranchi added to the woes of residents, while people in Daltonganj were battling heat wave conditions.

Since this is the transition phase from the pre-monsoon phase to monsoon, the moisture level will remain high till June 15 and will remain around it till the onset of monsoon currents. Even though the day temperature in Ranchi hovered around 39 degrees Celsius, the relative humidity level touched 65%, causing inconvenience. Even though clouds covered the sky of Ranchi in the afternoon, it did not rain.

IMD, Ranchi said that the humidity levels in Ranchi and Bokaro and Jamshedpur are a result of the lack of moisture in the atmosphere over Jharkhand from the easterly winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. Heat wave was experienced in Daltonganj till 2 pm as the mercury level hovered around 42 degree Celsius. Although Daltonganj recorded a heatwave, Ramgarh recorded the highest temperature of the day (43 degrees Celsius) on Monday.
