Heavy Rain Alert: IMD has issued heavy rain alert for these states in the next 72 hours

Monsoon has shown its power across the country this time. However, constant changes have been seen in the speed of monsoon. Sometimes monsoon becomes active with heavy rain and sometimes there is light rain at a slow pace.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon will change in the next 72 hours and heavy rain alert has been issued in many states.

Effect of monsoon continues in Rajasthan

Monsoon has given good rain in many districts of Rajasthan. The process of rain continues in the state, but fluctuations in speed have also been seen. There is a possibility of heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in many parts of the state in the next three days. Light drizzle may also occur in some districts.

Slow pace of monsoon in Delhi

Monsoon has been relatively less active this time in the country’s capital Delhi. However, in the last few days, many parts of Delhi have received good rain. Drizzle and strong winds are likely here in the next 72 hours.

Heavy rain is expected in Northwest and Northeast India

Heavy rain is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana in the next three days. At the same time, heavy rain warning has been issued in Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Nagaland.

Rains will also occur in western, southern and eastern India.

Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat-Saurashtra and Konkan will receive heavy to light rains in the next 72 hours. Heavy rain alert has also been issued in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Lakshadweep and Yanam in South India. Heavy rain and drizzle is also expected in Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. The Meteorological Department has advised all states to remain alert and make necessary preparations.
