Housing finance company HDFC has reduced the interest rates on its home loans in view of the festive season. The buying and booking of houses increases in a big way during the festive season of Diwali. That’s why the company has introduced this offer.

Home Loan at 6.70% Interest

HDFC has said that during the festive season it will give home loans to people at an annual interest of 6.70%. This home loan at affordable interest will be given on loan of any amount in the employment category. That is, no fixed limit has been fixed for the loan amount. This offer will be applicable on all new loan applications.

Offer till 31st October




 

This offer of HDFC will start from September 20 and will run till October 31. Significantly, during this period big festivals like Navratri and Dussehra fall during which people consider it auspicious to buy a new house.

Demand for homes will increase

HDFC Limited MD Renu Sood Karnad says that the prices of residential properties have remained more or less the same in the major markets of the country for the last few years. At the same time, the income of the people has increased. On the other hand, the sale of houses is likely to increase due to the record low level of home loan interest rates, subsidy related to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other tax benefits.
