Hathras Rape Case: The officers folded hands and said – you can stop the ruckus, cooperate, give a befitting reply to the father of the daughter

Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary (Home) and Director General of Police, who arrived at Chandpa’s daughter’s house on Saturday, folded hands with the father of the girl and said that you can stop the ruckus. Help us to make peace. On this, the father of the daughter also folded her hands and said – Sir, you can give us justice. Both top officers assured him of this. 

The family members of the daughter, who were hurt by the government’s attitude, put a series of questions on both officers who were there for about 40 minutes. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi and Director General of Police HC Awasthi reached the village of Bitiya. Concerned about the grimness of the state government due to the uproar that has been going on for the past several days, these officers joined hands in front of the father of the daughter-in-law and sought cooperation for peace. 




The daughter’s father also appeared in this posture. He sought justice for the daughter. On the other hand, the victim’s family also folded their hands and asked them to answer our questions. Saying this, the family started bombarding questions in front of these officers. This made the situation uncomfortable. The victim’s family made it clear that if they cannot answer the questions, then understand that we are not satisfied.

Along with this, the family also kept complaints like threatening by the District Magistrate. The family asked why the daughter’s body was burnt in the night? Why was the face not shown? Whose body was it? Why put petrol and burn it? The officials were silent on these questions.
