1995 proved to be an important year for Sonu Nigam’s career and he got an opportunity to work as a host on the small screen program Saregama. After the popularity gained from this program, he managed to make his mark to some extent. The T-series owner met Gulshan Kumar who recognized his talent and gave him a chance to work as a playback singer in his film Bewafa Sanam. His song in the film Bewafa Sanam, Achha Sila Diya Tune Mere Pyaar Ka became a craze among the audience in those days. After the success of the film and the song, he managed to make his mark in the film industry as a playback singer.
