Patna. The state government is going to give arrears of July and August for the increased dearness allowance to its employees before Dussehra. The arrears of these two months will be given to the workers in a lump sum in October. The Finance Department has issued an order in this regard.

According to this, the workers will start getting the benefit of 28% DA (Dearness Allowance) by adding it to the salary of September itself. However, the arrears for July and August will be paid on any day in October. That is, it will be available before the salary of October.

It is more likely to be transferred to the account of the workers before Dussehra. Earlier, it was decided to pay the arrears of both the months after October by adding them to the salaries of different months. But, this could not be possible due to the prescribed provision in CFMS (Comprehensive Finance Management System).

Now the government will give it outright in October. This will give additional financial benefits to the workers in Dussehra. About six and a half lakh employees of the state government will directly benefit from this new facility.
