Good News: Salary Hike For Bank Employees From August DA Increase Possible By 3%

11th bps pay structure: After the central employees, now the government has made preparations to increase the salary of bank workers. According to the news published in News18, it is possible to increase the salary of bank employees from this month.



Dearness Allowance (DA) for bank employees has increased by 2.1 percent to 27.79% as compared to the previous quarter. This increment will be effective from August to October. At the same time, DA has been increased by three percent for the employees who follow 10th BPS. The increase in DA will be applicable for the next three months starting from August. There is an increase in DA every three months

Dearness Allowance of bank employees is revised after every three months. DA is calculated on the basis of Consumer Price Index and is revised every quarter for bank employees. The central government had earlier released the Average All India Consumer Price Index Number (AICPIN) for industrial workers for the quarter of April, May and June 2021. With these average AICPIN data, Dearness Allowance for bank employees is calculated. 11 percent increase in DA of central employees



The government increased the dearness allowance of central employees in July. The DA of central employees has been increased by 11 percent, after which their DA has increased to 28 percent. Significantly, during the Corona epidemic, the Central Government had banned the increase in DA of employees, due to which there was no increase in DA from January 2020 to June 2021. Now there is also information that the government is going to increase the DA of central employees by three percent soon.
