Ladki Bahin Yojana : Ahead of Diwali, women in Maharashtra have received significant relief. The process of releasing the September installment under the Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana begins today, October 10th. Maharashtra Women and Child Development Minister Aditi S. Tatkare announced that ₹1,500 will soon be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women.

Minister Tatkare stated that the installment transfer process will be phased in, and the money will reach the bank accounts of all eligible women within the next 2-3 days. He also urged women who have not yet completed their e-KYC to do so immediately, as the money will not be credited to their accounts without e-KYC.

In fact, some irregularities in the scheme were discovered in recent months, following which the government initiated a re-verification of all beneficiaries. Many ineligible names are being removed from the list so that only genuine beneficiaries can benefit from the scheme. This is why the September installment was slightly delayed.

The state government has already given all beneficiaries two months to complete their e-KYC process. If this process is not completed within the stipulated time, funds will not be credited to their accounts in the following months.

Easy way to do e-KYC

First of all visit the official portal of Ladki Behin Yojana.

Select the e-KYC option there.

Enter your registration number and captcha code.

Click for Aadhaar Verification.

Enter the OTP received on your mobile.

After this, verify e-KYC by completing the biometric process.

If a woman faces any difficulties during e-KYC, she can seek assistance by calling the helpline number 181. Under the Chief Minister Ladki Behen Yojana, women aged 21 to 65 in the state are given Rs 1,500 per month.
