The government has taken a decision on the dearness allowance of Chhattisgarh government employees and pensioners. The dearness allowance of employees has been increased for the second half of the financial year.
Now the dearness allowance of Chhattisgarh government employees has become 55 percent equal to that of central employees. Employees will probably be able to avail this benefit from the month of July.

The important meeting of the Sai Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has ended. After a long discussion in this meeting of the Sai Cabinet, many important issues have been approved. The Deputy Chief Minister of the state Arun Saw has given information about the decisions taken in the Sai Cabinet meeting through a press conference.
1. Distribution of gram to the beneficiary families of tribal and Mada pocket areas
The Council of Ministers has decided that the required quantity of 2 kg gram to be distributed every month under the Public Distribution System to the Antyodaya and Priority Category families living in the Scheduled Area and MADA Pocket Area of the state will be purchased by the Civil Supplies Corporation through the NeML e-auction platform. This purchase will be made at a transaction / service charge of 0.25 percent or less approved in the financial year 2024-25.
Along with this, the Council of Ministers has said that the beneficiaries who have not taken gram from July 2025 to November 2025, this gram should be distributed to them as per their eligibility by December 2025.
2. Promotion of IT hub in Nava Raipur
The cabinet has decided to allot a plot of 90 acres of land at concessional premium rate to encourage the establishment of Information Technology (IT/IITS) industry in Nava Raipur. The objective of this decision is to attract investment in the IT sector and accelerate industrial development. Availability of land at concessional rate will increase the participation of private sector and will also create new employment opportunities.
This initiative will not only promote technical and economic activities in Nava Raipur, but will also boost the process of settlement and urbanization here. Establishment of IT companies will develop infrastructure in the region, which will also provide direct and indirect benefits to local residents.
