As per the rules, the limit of carrying free luggage varies according to the coach
- First AC class passengers will be able to carry up to 70 kg of luggage free of cost.
- This limit will be 50 kg in the second AC class.
- Third AC and Sleeper class passengers will be allowed to carry luggage up to 40 kg.
- Those travelling in general class will be allowed to carry up to 30 kg of free luggage.
Apart from this, every passenger is also allowed to carry extra luggage up to 10 kg. But if the weight is found to be more than this, then the luggage will have to be booked as a parcel.
