Good news! Buy Delhi and Noida metro tickets from a single app, Noida Sector-51 metro skywalk will start on this day

There is a big relief news for the metro passengers of Delhi-NCR. Now Delhi Metro (DMRC) and Noida Metro (NMRC) tickets can be purchased through a single mobile app, which will relieve the passengers from the hassle of different apps and payment gateways.

According to the news of Live Hindustan, Noida Metro Rail Corporation is going to start an air-conditioned skywalk connecting the Blue Line of Delhi Metro and Aqua Line of Noida from October 2. This sky walk is 420 meters long and also has the facility of moving walkway and lift. It will make the connectivity between the two metro networks easier.

Sky walk has been constructed at a cost of 40 crores

According to the news, the cost of this skywalk built between Noida Sector-51 Metro Station and Noida Sector-52 Metro Station is Rs 40 crore. All preparations for starting this skywalk will be completed by 30 September. A travelator running at a speed of 0.5 meters per second has been installed in the skywalk, which will support the passengers in commuting.

On which app you can buy tickets

According to the news, passengers traveling in Noida and Delhi Metro will be able to buy Delhi Metro tickets on NMRC’s app and Noida Metro tickets on DMRC’s Sarathi app. This is going to be very convenient for the passengers. According to the news, keeping in mind this demand of the passengers for a long time, Noida Metro and Delhi Metro have taken this decision together. Currently, passengers will get the options of net banking, credit card / debit card and UPI to buy QR code tickets through the app.

Work is being done on this too

According to the news, MD of NMRC i.e. Noida Metro says that we are also working on a way to enable travel in Delhi and Noida Metro with a single QR code ticket in the coming days. If this is possible, it will be a great convenience for the passengers of both the metros.
