The domestic futures prices of gold have seen a sharp rise on Monday morning on the first trading day of the week. On February 5, 2021 futures gold prices on MCX appeared to be trading at Rs 50,798 per 10 grams, rising by 1.10 per cent or Rs 554 on Monday morning. Apart from this, the futures price of gold on April 5, 2021 was seen to be trading at Rs 50,809 per 10 gram, with an increase of 1.02 per cent or Rs 513 at this time. At the same time, both the spot and futures prices of gold rose sharply in the global market on Monday morning.




Along with gold, domestic futures prices of silver also saw a tremendous increase on Monday morning. On Monday morning, on March 5, 2021 futures silver prices on MCX was trading up by 1.98 per cent or Rs 1346, at Rs 69,469 per kg. Apart from this, both the futures and spot prices of silver also rose in the global market on Monday morning.

Global gold prices

Globally, both gold futures and spot prices rose on Monday morning. According to Bloomberg, on Monday morning the global futures price of gold appeared to be trading at 1.59 percent, or $ 28.70, at $ 1,923.80 an ounce on Comex. In addition, the global spot price of gold was currently trading at $ 1,920.40 an ounce, up 1.17 percent or $ 22.26.

Silver prices globally

Globally, silver has also seen a rise in both futures and spot prices on Monday morning. According to Bloomberg, on Monday morning, March 2021 futures silver price was seen trading at 2.27 per cent, or $ 0.72, at $ 27.14 an ounce on Comex. Apart from this, the global spot price of silver appeared to be trading 2.37 percent, or $ 0.62, at $ 27.03 an ounce.
