Today, on Tuesday, July 1, 24 carat gold has become costlier by Rs 996 per 10 grams and opened at Rs 96882. There is a rise of Rs 415 in the price of silver and it has reached Rs 105925 per kg. With GST, the price of gold is still below Rs 100000 per 10 grams. While 24 carat gold with GST is selling at the rate of Rs 99788 per 10 grams, silver is selling at Rs 109102 per kg.
According to IBJA rates, 23 carat gold also rose by Rs 992 to open at Rs 96494 per 10 grams. At the same time, the average spot price of 22 carat gold rose by Rs 912 to open at Rs 88744 per 10 grams. The price of 18 carat gold also rose by Rs 747 to Rs 72662 per 10 grams. Whereas, the price of 14 carat gold has strengthened by Rs 583 to reach Rs 56676 per 10 grams. GST and making charge are not included in this.
The spot prices of gold and silver have been released by India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA). GST is not levied in these. It is possible that there is a difference of Rs 1000 to 2000 in your city. IBJA releases the rate twice a day. Once around 12 noon and second around 5 pm.

This year gold has become expensive by about Rs 20142 and silver by Rs 19908 in the bullion markets. On 31 December 24, gold opened at Rs 76045 per 10 and silver at Rs 85680 per kg. On this day gold closed at Rs 75740. Silver also closed at Rs 86017 per kg. Whereas, in June alone, while the price of gold jumped by Rs 2103, silver jumped by Rs 9624.
