There has been a steady decline in the price of gold for the last 4 days. Today, if we compare the price of gold with its all-time high rate, then today gold is selling cheaper by Rs 7,700.

After a continuous decline in the price of gold for the last 4 days, 22 carat gold is being sold today at a price of Rs 47,650 per ten grams. Earlier on March 27, the price of gold was being sold at Rs 48,200 per ten grams. After this, a fall of Rs 550 per ten grams has been seen in its price in 3 days.
Earlier in August, 2020, gold had reached its all-time high rate of Rs 55,400 per ten grams. If you compare the current price of gold with its all-time high rate, then gold is now selling cheaper by Rs 7,700.

Gold futures on Thursday rose by Rs 195 to Rs 51,148 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for April supply contract rose by Rs 195, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 51,148 per 10 grams.
It traded for 213 lots. Market analysts said setting up of fresh positions by participants led to the rise in gold futures. Globally, gold fell 0.17 per cent to USD 1,935.80 an ounce in New York.
