Free Ration on Ration Card: There is tremendous good news for the ration card holders. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has made a big announcement for the card holders. Once again the free ration scheme has been extended by the government for three months.


Free Ration Update: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given a big gift to 15 crore ration card holders on the completion of 100 days of the second term. Yogi Sarkar 2.0 was formed in March 2022. In the first week of July, after the completion of 100 days of the government’s tenure, the Free Ration Scheme has been extended for three months. After this announcement made by the government, there is a wave of happiness among the people of UP.

The gift given on the completion of 100 days
When the Yogi government was formed for the second time in UP, CM Yogi Adityanath extended the free ration scheme for three months on 26 March. Now when the 100 days of the government have been completed, it was announced to extend the scheme once again for three months. However, the government had made this announcement even before the completion of 100 days.


Let us tell you the provision of 35 kg ration for the card holders, for the
people of UP, the Yogi government had announced to give free ration till June 30 under the Antyodaya Yojana. Under the scheme, 35 kg ration is given to the card holders. Wheat, rice, sugar, pulses and salt etc. everything remains in the ration. Apart from this scheme of the state government, free ration is also being provided in Uttar Pradesh under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY).

Decision to continue till 30th September
The Yogi government has completed 100 days of the second term on 4th July. In such a situation, it has been decided to continue the scheme of free ration till 30th September. Sources also say that the government is contemplating to continue the free ration scheme for a long time.
