New Delhi, Business Desk. LPG prices were seen increasing for the last two months, but this month there has been no change in the price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG). The price of LPG cylinders is reviewed on the first of every month and the price of the cylinder is increased or decreased based on the US dollar-rupee exchange rate and international oil prices. Last month, the price of LPG cylinder in Delhi was increased by just one rupee. At the same time, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 3.5 in Mumbai. At the same time, there was an increase of Rs 11.50 in June.  

What are the prices of non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders in major cities

The 14.2-kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder is currently priced at Rs 594 in Delhi. At the same time, for a non-subsidized cylinder in Kolkata, you have to pay 621 rupees. The price of non-subsidized cylinders in Mumbai is also priced at Rs 594. It is priced at Rs 610.50 in Chennai. 



Price of gas cylinder weighing 19 kg

At the same time, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder is in Delhi at Rs 1135.50. It is priced at Rs 1198.50 in Kolkata. The price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Mumbai is Rs 1091. At the same time, it is priced at Rs 1253 in Chennai.

It is noteworthy that domestic LPG customers have to buy cylinders at market price. After this all the eligible customers get the subsidy amount directly in their bank account under the direct benefit transfer scheme. Any customer gets subsidy on purchases of up to 12 cylinders in a financial year. You do not get any subsidy if you take more cylinders than that. 

LPG cylinder prices skyrocketed in February

n February this year, the price of domestic LPG cylinder reached Rs 858.50 in Delhi. However, due to the Coronavirus epidemic in March, there were fears about the demand for fuel, after which the price of LPG cylinder was reduced. In March, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced to Rs 805.50 in Delhi. At the same time, the price of LPG cylinder in Delhi was reduced to Rs 581.50 from Rs 744 in May.
