FD interest rates: Big news! Interest rates on FD increased, will get 7.15% interest instead of 6.65%, Details here

Sundaram Home Finance, a subsidiary of Sundaram Finance Limited, will revise its interest rates on fixed deposits (FD) from December 1. The company gave this information on Tuesday.



New Delhi. Sundaram Home Finance, a subsidiary of Sundaram Finance Limited, will revise its interest rates on fixed deposits (FD) from December 1. The company gave this information on Tuesday. The company said on Tuesday that it will increase the interest rates for trusts to 0.50. On the other hand, individuals will get interest at the rate of 7.15 percent instead of 6.65 percent and senior citizens at the rate of 7.50 percent instead of seven percent on one-year deposits.

On the other hand, senior citizens will get 7.50 percent as against 7.35 percent on two-year term deposits, 7.80 percent instead of 7.65 percent on three-year deposits and 7.90 percent to eight percent on four-year term deposits.

Know how much interest is being received

The trust or Nyas will get 7.15 per cent interest on two-year deposits, 7.80 per cent instead of 7.65 per cent on three-year deposits and 8 per cent instead of 7.90 per cent on four-year deposits. Interest rates for individuals other than senior citizens will be increased to 7.65 per cent instead of 7.15 per cent and 7.55 per cent for two-year and four-year deposits, respectively.

Bajaj Finance Limited had also increased the interest rates

Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC), Bajaj Finance Limited has launched a special scheme for the deposit period of 39 months. Under this, senior citizens will get interest at the rate of 7.85 percent. A rate of 7.60 per cent has been offered to non-senior citizens.

This special scheme of Bajaj Finance Limited has become effective from today, Tuesday. In this scheme, senior citizens can get a maximum interest of 7.95 percent, but they will have to put money in FD for 44 months. An interest rate of 7.70 per cent is being offered to non-senior citizens for 44 months. Cumulative FD of 12 to 23 months for common citizens will get 6.80 percent, while 6.95 percent interest rate will be available under special FD of 15 months.
