EPFO Nirbadh Sewa: Under the Provident Employees Fund Organization (EPFO), uninterrupted service was started by EPFO to ensure that employees get pension on time and without any delay. Under this service, the process related to pension of EPFO employees does not take much time and till now 3 lakh pensioners have been benefitted through this facility. Recently, EPFO has given information about this by tweeting. EPFO tweeted that through the uninterrupted service run by EPFO, subscribers can get Pension Payment Order (PPO) on the day of retirement.
Getting rid of pension problems under uninterrupted service
The Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances had ordered to resolve the pension related complaints (EPF Pension Grievances) of EPFO members at the earliest. After this uninterrupted service was started by EPFO.
Explain that before uninterrupted service, EPFO members had to face different difficulties in generating PPO number for their post-retirement pension. Apart from this, EPFO also decided that the retiring employees should get help in PPO and pension related guidance and training through webinars under uninterrupted service.

What is PPO?
This is a 12 digit number, which is issued every year by EPFO for retired employees. PPO number is required when the employee applies for pension and submits his life certificate.
