The EPFO replied from its official Twitter handle that whenever the interest amount is transferred to the account, then the months of July and August will be deposited together and then the full amount will be given.

There is good news for about six and a half crore people working in the country. These account holders were expected from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) that the PF money for the month of July would be transferred to their account by July 31, but it did not happen. Now the information is coming out that the PF money will be transferred to the PF account holders in the month of August.

An account holder from EPFO tweeted and asked that when will the interest amount for the month of July be transferred by EPFO. On this, the EPFO replied from its official Twitter handle that whenever the interest amount is transferred to the account, then the months of July and August will be deposited together and then the full amount will be given. The EPFO also said in its reply that no account holder will be allowed to suffer loss on account of interest.

However, no reply was given by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization as to when the interest amount would be transferred to the account of the account holders. Actually, the government has approved 8.5 percent interest for the fiscal year 2020-21.

If you want to check the interest amount in the account, first of all, you can get information through message from your registered UAN number which is registered with EPFO. For this, send any account holder by writing EPFOHO to 7738299899. The complete information about your PF account will be sent to you by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization. Apart from this, you can also give a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number. After this EPFO will send you a message, which will contain all the information related to your account.

Apart from this, in view of the corona infection, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has also given permission to the account holders to withdraw money during the lockdown. EPFO has now again alerted that you will not be able to withdraw money without filing e-nomination in the coming days. Therefore, those account holders who have not made anyone a non-nominee till now, they should make someone a nominee under e-nomination as soon as possible. Nominee can be made by any member of the family.
