That is, only the contribution of the employee will come in the PF account.

It is mandatory to link PF account with Aadhaar

Employers will not be able to file ECR (Electronic Challan cum Return) in PF accounts which will not be linked with Aadhaar, so their PF contribution will not be able to be made. EPFO has informed all its subscribers for Aadhaar linking. EPFO has also directed all employers to collect UAN of all their Aadhaar verified EPF account holders. Under the new rule, the employer has now been given the responsibility to verify your account with Aadhaar. Therefore, now EPF account holders should get information about EPFO ​​guidelines from their company and if the company has not done Aadhaar verification of their EPF account and UAN, then complete it immediately.

How to link EPF account with Aadhaar

Apart from this, if your PF account is not linked with Aadhaar, then you will not be able to use other services of EPFO. EPFO has issued this order under section 142 of the Social Security Code 2020. Employees who have not linked their PF account and Aadhaar till now, they should get this work done today itself, for this you do not need to go anywhere. You can do this work sitting at home.

This is the easy way to link



1. First of all you have to log on to EPFO website www.epfindia.gov.in .
2. After this, by going to Online Services, click on e-KYC Portal and then link UAN aadhar.
3. You have to upload your UAN number and mobile number registered with UAN account.
4. An OTP number will come on your mobile number.
5. Enter your 12 digit Aadhar number in the Aadhar box and submit it
6. Then Proceed to OTP verification will come, click on it
7. To verify Aadhar details again, link Aadhar with mobile number or OTP on mail will have to be generated.
8. After verification, your Aadhaar will be linked to your PF account.
