The government not only provides capital for these schemes (Employment Schemes of Central Government) but also provides training to start a business. PM Svanidhi Scheme

Under this scheme, the government provides a loan of 10 thousand rupees. Under this, the government encourages regular account settlement and digital transactions.

Eligibility: You must be an Indian citizen to take advantage of this scheme. If you are a hawker, you must have a vending certificate or identity card issued by the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Those who have not got the vending certificate can also take advantage of it.

Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme

Under this scheme, youth are given skill development training. By taking this training, you can get employment anywhere or start your own enterprise.

Eligibility: You must be an Indian citizen to take advantage of this scheme. Youth or 10th pass students leaving class 10th or 12th can enroll in PMKVY to develop their skills. To take this training, the government has fixed the age of 18-45 years.

MGNREGA Scheme

Under this scheme, a minimum employment of 100 days per year per family has been guaranteed. He is entitled to get work within 15 days from the date of application under the scheme.

Eligibility: Applicant must be an Indian citizen. He should be above 18 years of age and should be residing in rural area.

Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided by the government for setting up new enterprises. 10 lakh for setting up an enterprise in the manufacturing sector and up to Rs 5 lakh for working in the business / service sector.

Eligibility: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and must be above 18 years of age. He should have at least 8th pass.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay- Rural Skill Scheme (DDU-GKY)

The objective of this scheme (DDU-GKY) is to make rural youth stand on their feet by providing them skills. So that they can get jobs above minimum wage.


Eligibility: The applicant of this scheme should be an Indian citizen. His age should be between 15 to 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by ten years for women and other vulnerable groups.
