There is good news for the roadways employees of Uttarakhand. Before Holi, the State Transport Corporation has issued an incentive scheme for its employees. Under this, the corporation will give an incentive allowance of Rs 1250 to 1500 to the driver operator who drives the vehicle up to the specified target without taking leave. In this regard, Transport Corporation’s General Manager Operations and Technical Deepak Jain has issued an order.
The special thing is that this scheme will start from today, March 4 and will run till March 14. About 5000 employees will get benefit from this. This scheme will be applicable to all regular, contract, outsourced driver-operators working in the corporation. This scheme will not be applicable to officers, deputy officers.
It has been said in the order that Holi is on March 7 and 8, so there will be a crowd of passengers. Therefore, this scheme has been started to encourage drivers, operators, technical personnel of workshops, outsourced personnel and clerks making bookings at counters, making passes etc. for more duties. If a regular driver, operator, technical worker has a weekly holiday during the period of 11 days, then the allowance will be given after the scheme is over.
What is Incentive Scheme-
In fact, during the Holi festival, an incentive scheme has been implemented by the Roadways Headquarters. Under this incentive scheme implemented for 10 days, during the Holi festival, the employees of Driver Operator Workshop will be given some amount as incentive. If the same driver-operator drives the buses for more than one kilometer, then he will be given an incentive amount in addition to the salary from the headquarters. This scheme will be applicable for the employees working in similar workshops.

For Driver-Operator-
Earning more than 75 percent load factor, working for 10 days by taking 1 holiday, at least 2420 km on plain routes, at least 2000 km on mixed routes and at least 1800 km only on mountain routes, will get an incentive of Rs 1250 .
Earning more than 75% load factor, working for 11 days without taking a single leave: Rs 1500 incentive for bus operation of at least 2662 km on plain routes, at least 2200 km on mixed routes and at least 1980 km on hilly routes Will get the amount.
Holi offer-
On the day of Holi, the driver-operators who drive the vehicle will get Rs 300 and those whose load factor is more than 85 percent, they will also get an additional incentive of Rs 500.
They will also get benefit-
The load factor of the depot for workshop technical personnel, diesel clerk engaged in operations, timekeeper, bag in out clerk, checking clerk, cashier, store keeper, counter in booking clerk, pass making staff, outsourced staff of workshop from 75 percent Those who work for 10 days out of 11 days will get Rs 1000, while outsourced workers will get incentive allowance of Rs 750 for working 10 days if there is more income.
