Domestic Flights: Good News! Now passengers will get food in domestic flights, government has approved

The Civil Aviation Ministry has said that airline companies can now provide Meals in Flights to passengers in domestic flights without any restriction. Also told that the cases of corona infection have come down due to the adherence to the Covid Protocol.


 

New Delhi. Domestic air travel ( Domestic Flights Airline companies during) will now providing food and friendly staff. The Civil Aviation Ministry said that airlines have been allowed to serve food to air passengers on domestic flights ( In-Flight Meals ). Apart from this, the ministry has also approved giving other reading materials including magazines to the air travelers during the journey. Explain that due to the corona virus epidemic, a ban was imposed on providing food and any reading material to passengers on short-distance domestic flights.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation has said that airline companies can now provide food to passengers on domestic flights without any restriction. Also told that there has been a decrease in the cases of corona infection due to the adherence to the Kovid Protocol (COVID-19 Protocol). In such a situation, it has now been decided to make available food, drinks and magazines again to passengers during air travel.

Permission was given to start conditional flight service


 

The lockdown was announced in March 2020 to control the pace of spread of corona virus. Along with this, there was a temporary ban on the flight services of the country and abroad. Domestic flights were resumed in May 2020 after the first wave of Corona. At that time, the Ministry of Civil Aviation had allowed passengers to be given food in flight with special conditions. Airline companies were allowed to fly with their limited capacity, which was gradually increased.

Full capacity flight approved in October 2021

On 18 October 2021, the ministry approved to operate domestic flights with 100 percent passenger capacity. However, the ministry has asked airlines and airport operators to ensure all measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Also, during the journey, strict adherence to covid friendly behavior should be made.
