In such a situation, Delhi Metro is operating normally since Monday morning. As per the order of Delhi Government, Night Curfew is in effect from 10 AM to 5 AM every night. Explain that after halving the capacity of public transport, metro and buses in Delhi are allowed to run with 100 percent seating capacity in view of the huge crowd outside bus stands and metro stations and the possibility of spread of infection. Along with this, every passenger will have to wear a mask and for violating it, a fine of Rs 200 is being imposed along with being banned from travel.

Here is the guideline of Delhi Metro

According to the guidelines issued by DMRC- ‘In view of the new guidelines of Kovid-19, travel will be allowed inside trains with only 100 seating capacity. No passenger will be allowed to stand in the train.

Please tell that under the order of the Delhi government, there is a yellow alert in the city at present. With its introduction, metro and bus were allowed to run with 50 percent seating capacity, but on January 4, Manish Sisodia announced that due to permission to sit only 50 percent capacity in Delhi Metro and Bus, metro stations and The crowd was gathering at the bus stand, due to which this place could become a super spreader, so this restriction on metro and bus has been removed.

Weekend curfew

Curfew is being imposed in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. Under this, this curfew will be applicable from 10 pm on Friday night to 5 am on Monday. During this, there is a ban on leaving the house unnecessarily.

Work from home for government employees

Except for essential services, all other government offices are closed. During this, the government employee is in online or work from home mode. In private offices, 50 percent employees are allowed to come.

Travel in metro-bus with 100% seating capacity

Due to Covid, the number of passengers in the metro and bus was limited, which has been removed. Now again metro and bus are running with full capacity. Passengers are required to wear masks. No one is being given entry without a mask.

This arrangement will happen over the weekend

According to DMRC, during the weekend curfew, on Saturday and Sunday, there will be train trips on the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro i.e. HUDA City Center to Samaypur Badli Line at an interval of 15 minutes during the curfew. During this, the running time between two trains will be 15 minutes.

At the same time, this rule of frequency of 15 minutes will also be applicable for the Blue Line Metro. According to the new rule, now people will be able to travel sitting on all the seats in the metro, but standing will not be allowed to travel.
