Delhi Metro Guidelines: Due to the increasing infection of new variants of Corona in Delhi, many restrictions have been imposed. The Kejriwal government has issued a yellow alert. Almost the same restrictions have been imposed like lockdown. Due to this, a new guideline has been issued by DMRC for those traveling in the metro. (Delhi Metro Guidelines) In view of the new guidelines of Kovid-19, travel will be allowed inside the trains with only 50% seating capacity. No passenger will be allowed to stand in the train.

Can get crowded in metro

Let us tell you that only 62% gates will open for entry and exit in Delhi Metro stations. DMRC says that people will have to strictly follow the orders that have been issued to prevent Covid infection. For this, people may have to face long lines.

Only a few metro gates will open

According to the guidelines, from now till further orders, instead of 712 metro gates of Delhi Metro, only 444 gates will remain open. There will be separate gates for entry and exit at the stations.

Why is Yellow Alert applied?

In Delhi, ‘Yellow Alert’ is issued when the corona infection rate remains more than 0.5 percent for two consecutive days. Even during the Yellow Alert, a lot of strictness is taken. Imposition of night curfew, closure of schools and colleges, opening of non-essential goods shops on an odd-even basis under ‘Yellow’ alert (Delhi mini lockdown guidelines) and half the seating capacity of passengers in metro trains and public transport buses. There are ways to do this.
