Big news has come out for 5 lakh pensioners of Madhya Pradesh. Where the state government has approved Dearness Relief for pensioners at the rate of 50 percent on pension in the seventh pay scale and 239 percent in the sixth pay scale.

Actually, superannuation, retirement, disability, and compensation pension will be given. Dearness relief will also be given on the compassionate allowance approved for employees who were removed from the job or removed from service. Pensioners receiving family pension and extraordinary pension will also be given dearness relief as per the rules of 5 October 1976 of the Finance Department.

However, if a person has been given a job on compassionate grounds due to the death of their spouse, then in such a situation dearness relief will not be available on family pension.
