There is good news for lakhs of government employees of Madhya Pradesh. Tell that the state government has given gifts to the government employees in the election year. Orders have been issued by the government to increase the dearness allowance by 4%. 7.50 lakh employees of the state will get its benefit. For this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced a week before.
The rule will be applicable from January 2023
The Madhya Pradesh government has issued an order on behalf of the Finance Department to give 4 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) to 7.50 lakh employees of the state. With this, dearness allowance will increase from 34 to 38 percent. This rule will be applicable from January 2023. Its benefit will be given to 7.50 lakh government employees of the state.
Know who will get benefit
Let us inform that there are 06 lakh 40 thousand regular government employees in Madhya Pradesh and 1 lakh 10 thousand employees are daily wage earners. In such a situation, seven and a half lakh employees of the state will get its benefit. According to the order issued regarding the increase of DA, the increase in the rate of 4 percent dearness allowance will be applicable from January 01, 2023.
50 paise or more of Dearness Allowance shall be rounded off to the next higher figure. While the amount less than 50 paise will be discarded. According to the order issued, no part of the dearness allowance will be considered as salary.
How much salary will increase
Significantly, till now the employees of Madhya Pradesh were getting the benefit of 34 per cent dearness allowance. Which has now increased to 38 percent with an increase of 4 percent. Explain that due to the increase in DA, those getting a minimum salary of Rs 15,500 will get Rs 625 and employees getting a maximum salary of Rs 2 lakh 15000 will get a benefit of Rs 9000 per month. This includes all categories of state government employees.
