Odisha government increased dearness allowance

Now the employees of the state will also get DA at par with the employees of the central government. Central employees are already getting 31 percent dearness allowance.

According to the information given by the Chief Minister’s Office, the decision to increase DA / DR will benefit about seven and a half lakh employees and pensioners of the state of Odisha.

Announcement on 30 percent arrears too

Let us inform that the state government has announced to give 30 percent arrears to the employees coming under the 7th Pay Commission. Employees will get 50 per cent arrears of increased salary between January 2016 and August 2017.

According to media reports, an increase in dearness allowance of central employees may be announced in the cabinet meeting to be held on March 16. Employees are to get 34 percent dearness allowance from January 2022.
