Just before Diwali and the festive season, CNG users in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad and surrounding areas of Maharashtra have received another major blow. This is the third time in this year i.e. 2025 that CNG prices have been increased in these areas:
➤ January 2025: This month, CNG prices were increased by ₹2.
➤ June 2025: This month, prices were increased by ₹3.
➤ October 2025 (latest increase): Now, there has been an increase of ₹1.
The main reason for the price increase
is said to be the increase in the cost of natural gas. Fluctuations in gas procurement, transportation, and other related expenses have led to increased costs for gas companies. Furthermore, fluctuations in global gas prices are also continuously increasing prices.

: The increase in CNG prices will directly impact the general public.
