Important update for CBSE students. CBSE has issued circular directing the schools. While giving instructions on the academic session, an important preparation is being done by CBSE. Under this, changes will be made in the syllabus till class two.

CBSE 2023: Important information center for CBSE students Big announcement was made by the Board of Secondary Education. In which it was said that in the academic session 2023-24, CBSE is going to adopt the National Curriculum Framework under Academy Phase 2022.

New guidelines issued

In an official notification, CBSE has clarified that NCFFS 2022 has been developed by NCERT to outline competencies and learning outcomes, common principles and approaches as mandated by the National Education Policy 2022. It will serve as an innovative guideline for the school and teacher to design and develop course curriculum and teaching material in line with the National Educational Goals.

Change of course

CBSE clarified that the new structure of 5-year education from Nursery to Class II will be introduced from the session 2023- 24. It will be started in those schools, where education is provided to the students at the basic level. For this, the age limit of the students has been fixed from 3 to 8 years.

New preparations are being made by CBSE. Under this, it will be ensured by the government that all the teachers and employees of the schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education are registered with the Employees Provident Fund Organization and they can be brought under the purview of the social security scheme. Labor Ministry and EPFO should work closely with CBSE to ensure that all such school PF employees comply with statutory requirements such as state insurance and labor laws.

Big preparation of CBSE

CBSE affiliated schools have to be registered with the government on the Shram Suvidha Portal in association with the EPFO which is an online platform for labor law compliance. EPFO has directed the field office to verify the coverage status of the school and take necessary action.

Earlier a circular has been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education. In which the school has been advised to strictly follow its academic calendar and refrain from starting the new academic session before April 1. Instructing to follow the academic session from 1st April to 31st March, CBSE has said that preparations are being made to start the academic session in many schools from the month of March itself. This is a very wrong and unfair decision.

The board said that early completion of the syllabus may increase additional pressure on the students and they may feel anxious and tired. In such a situation, the circular has been issued stating that attempting to complete an entire year’s worth of syllabus in a short time frame can pose a risk to students and make them struggle. Therefore, the academic session in all schools should start from 1st April till 31st March.
